Staying in work

Work Solutions provides a specialist programme of practical support, advice and guidance to help you stay in work if you are experiencing difficulties with your mental health.

Who we support

  • Westminster residents or registered with a Westminster GP
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Currently in paid employment
  • Experiencing a stress related and/or mental health condition affecting you at work

How we support you

You will be allocated an adviser and after an assessment, they will assist you in devising an action plan. This will help you identify your goals and the steps needed in order to achieve them, along with any support needs you may have. We could help you to identify sources of stress at work, explore possible adjustments, negotiate with your employer around a phased return and offer advice around relevant legislation

Work Solutions offers advice and guidance with accessing opportunities in employment, training and education

Who we support

  • Westminster residents or registered with a Westminster GP
  • Are aged 18 or over
  • Have a mental health condition
  • Motivated to gain education, training or employment

How we support you

We offer impartial vocational guidance and assessment leading to an action plan that will assist you in finding education and training courses, voluntary and work experience placements. We also advise on updating CVs, job search, job applications and interview techniques if you are looking for paid employment

Partnership working

We work in partnership with Westminster Psychology Service (Westminster IAPT) who provide talking therapies and self help courses to people with common mental health difficulties such as stress, worry and low mood. For more information please visit westminsteriapt.org.uk
